The Credit Crunch and what it all means
As I’m sure all of you are aware, at the moment the world’s economy is experiencing a Credit Crunch. From almost all corners of the globe we are all starting to feel the pinch on our finances. With a lot of speculation from the press and the financial sectors, whom do you trust? Where do you turn to find help and answers? This report and book have been written especially for that reason, to inform and educate everybody who is feeling this Credit Crunch, helping us all cope with an ever increasing burden on our finances.
Why is our economy in a credit crunch?
Mainly due to three aspects of our world economy, happening all at once and right NOW. Firstly demand for oil is at an all time high, along with the price, due partly to the rise in supply, and is going to continue to rise for some time. Secondly, Asia’s is growing at an incredibly fast rate and have a huge demand for raw materials and natural resources, putting ever more strain on supply. And finally the American monetary markets collapse in the mortgage sector has had a huge knock on effect on most of the large banks across the globe. The same Credit Crunch America is experiencing, Europe is now in its grasp.
So what then does this really mean to my family’s finances?
Well with the price of fuel and the demand on the natural resources that we are experiencing from Asia, combined with the other two aspects, there can only be one answer. As long as the cost for natural resources keeps rising, so will the cost of other services. Food becomes more expensive to produce, manufacture costs, transportation costs and also a rise in the service sector. Bottom line is the consumer pays more for the cost of living. The banks are also are not in a position to help as they are also experiencing their own Credit Crunch, making it a little tricky to get loans or mortgages as they are reluctant to loan money they really don’t have.
